Cape of Hope is the first foal of Diana by De Quidam. With the team vice European champion Comme il faut NRW as his sire, there is every reason to hope that this chestnut stallion will make his way into sport. Granddam Camina was herself successful in jumping competitions before she gave birth to her only foal Diana. Great-granddam American Lady by American Pie was brought into sport with the sport name American's Abbygale by Grit Schulze-Wierling and was successfully shown up to advanced level. The pair have more than 30 wins and placings in the advanced class. Her dam Gin-Fizz II by Grossadmiral produced two more advanced level successful offspring. Nine of 10 foals out of Gin-Fizz were successfully shown in jumping competitions.
