Book a test rider/ Rent a Rider 

New service for our auction customers 

We, the auction team of the Westphalian Studbook will offer a new service for auction customers. With the option "Book your test rider/ Rent a Rider", it is possible to "book" a highly qualified third­party rider who will try out auction horses in which you are interested. Not only in times of the Corona virus, but also for the future, this is a special opportunity for customers from abroad or with long journeys to have their favorites tested for riding quality, character and temperament.

  • No travel expenses
  • Neutral assessment of the horses by professionally proven, highly qualified third-party riders
  • No costs for customers in the introductory phase
  • Videos from finishing the horses to unsaddling it at the stable
  • Telephone consultation after the test ride by the desired rider

The following well-known third-party riders are available for our customers: 

Wibke Hartmann-Stommel (dressage horses/ dressage ponies) is known as a highly successful Bundeschampionat rider far beyond the borders of Westphalia as a top trainer for young horses and championship horses. 

Philipp Hartmann (jumping horses/ jumping ponies), husband of Wibke, he is a successful show jumper up to the advanced level. In 2019 he received the Golden Riding Badge (Golden Reitabzeichen) on the occasion of the competition Westfalen Woche in Munster. 

Sebastian Heinze (dressage horse) is a equestrian business graduate (Pferdewirtschaftsmeister) and has been self-employed since 2004. Since his first tournament in 1997, he has collected numerous triumphs and placements, from riding horse tests to advanced level. His in coaching's he gives his experiences in training of riders and horses further. For example, as national coach of the U-25 dressage riders since 2016.
